Who Is Beth on Big Brother? She's Holly Allen, 24, Wyoming

At the end of a long day, sometimes the best way to feel like you're living your best life is with some comfy PJ's, a glass of wine, and gratuitous reality television. In our series "Not-So-Guilty Pleasures," we remove the "guilt" and break down the latest happenings in your favorite TV indulgences.

• Going into week 10 of Big Brother 21, 31-year-old Holly Allen is enjoying her second HOH of the season.

• But unbeknownst to the wine safari guide, she's earned two major nicknames from superfans of the show.

We're currently nearing the end of week 10 in the Big Brother 21 house, getting closer the finale of a tumultuous and controversial season. But compared to the early weeks, the houseguests have been relatively chill—particularly under the current HOH reign of 31-year-old wine safari guide, Holly *cough* Beth *cough* Allen.

OK, we kid, we kid. Her name is totally just Holly Allen. But for the uninitiated, the name "Beth" (and another new title that we'll get to later on) has become a long-running inside joke for Big Brother superfans since the early days of the game. So much so that if one were to peruse the hundreds of tweets put out by #BB21 Twitter on the daily, they may think there's a 17th cast member they didn't know existed.

The moniker—which is in no way even close to her actual name—got its start when fellow house guest David Alexander (remember him) mistakenly called Holly "Beth," weeks ago. Yes, that's the end of the story. Ever since then, it's stuck because it doesn't take much to amuse the internet.

The nickname has now become synonymous with her actual name, as indicated by the following tweets.

Since the house guests are cut-off from the outside world, Holly is totally unaware about this new development. And we're not really sure how she'd react to it either. The closest she's come to learning about her new name, was when her showmance partner Jackson Michie mentioned it in July. Of course, this delighted Twitter, culminating in over 1,000 likes.

So, now that we're done explaining that incredibly important facet of the game, we'll move on to Holly's second nickname. Yes, she has two, and this one's relatively new. Ready for the grand reveal? It's literally, "Holly Allen, 24, Wyoming." Again, slightly underwhelming, but #BB21 fans are loving it. The origin of this one is a resurfaced clip from the safari guide's beauty pageant days in which she enthusiastically exclaims (you guessed it) "Holly Allen, 24, Wyoming!"

And cue the tweets.

Even the evicted Kemi Fakunle got in on the fun the night Holly won her second HOH.

Okay y'all, we're done. Sorry, we needed a little break from what has admittedly been a bit of a sleepy week in the Big Brother house. Christie or Nick are up for eviction, with one of them possibly going home on Thursday night's show. So while we're waiting for the news, we thought we'd shoutout the season's only two-time HOH winner who nominated them: Holly "Beth" Allen, 24, Wyoming. Long may she reign.
