At Wednesday night's Country Music Awards, Dolly Parton was honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Iconic country singers including Reba McEntire, Kacey Musgraves, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, and Pentatonix took the stage to perform a set of Parton's greatest hits.
The final performance moved Parton to tears, but she held back the waterworks. "I would've cried, but I didn't want to mess up my eyelashes," Parton said in her acceptance speech. With a tribute like this, it’s surprising Parton was able to hold it together without her face flushing red and her makeup running down her cheeks.
