In order to identify the premier ski resorts that offer the highest value for your money, Forbes Advisor conducted a comprehensive comparison of 51 ski resorts across the continental U.S. Their analysis delved into essential expenses such as lift tickets, basic ski rentals, air fare, accommodations, car rentals, and more Additionally, they assessed factors like snow quality, as well as the number of lifts and runs at each resort. Brian Head Ski Resort in Utah ranks as the best ski resort for the money, and two other ski resorts in Utah crack the top 10.
Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado claims the title as the worst ski resort for the money. A visit costs nearly double that of our best value.
Thirty-nine out of the 51 ski resorts evaluated accept a multi-pass, such as Epic or Ikon, allowing skiers or snowboarders to enjoy expanded access or discounts at partner resorts).
Seven of the 51 ski resorts considered offer over 150 runs, ranging from beginner to expert level. Park City Ski Resort in Utah tops the list with 324 runs, but ranks towards the bottom of the list when it comes to affordability.
