All of the best red carpet looks at the Critics Choice Awards, including Zendaya twinning with Gwyneth Paltrow

There was color, there was sparkle, there were pants, and there was even a twinning moment between red carpet queen Zendaya and Goop queen Gwyneth Paltrow. Basically, the 2020 Critics Choice Awards won our hearts because not only did celebrities slay the red carpet, but a woman was actually nominated for Best Director at this show. (Okay, Greta Gerwig didn’t end up winning for Little Women, but we’re taking small wins in this male-dominated awards season.)

We spotted hot pink, marigold, several bright cantaloupe, and lime green looks on this red carpet—so much color, in fact, that a few more muted tones stood out, too. And pants! Zendaya

Zendaya’s hot pink Tom Ford look seemed like it was literally created for her. The breastplate was futuristic pretty, and her matching fuschia makeup definitely earned her a spot on the best red carpet looks list. (Does Zendaya ever not make the list?) But what we love even more is that her top is twinning with Gwyneth Paltrow, and the Goop founder was so excited about it.

Kristen Bell went bold in a lime green Cong Tri jumpsuit, and she stood out in the best way. The actress took home the #SeeHer award, which celebrates women who “push boundaries on changing stereotypes and acknowledge the importance of authentic portrayals of women across the entertainment landscape.”

Florence Pugh

New 2020 Oscar nominee for portraying Amy in Little Women, Florence Pugh, sparkled all over the Critics Choice Awards red carpet in her Prada gown. The length is so chic (and perfect for showing off your shoes).

Awkwafina

She may have missed out on an Oscar nod for her performance in The Farewell, but she definitely makes our list for the best red carpet looks at the Critics Choice Awards. The bold marigold color, the statement sleeves, the flowing silhouette—everything about her Elie Saab dress worked.

Cynthia Erivo

There are statement sleeves and then there is an entire statement look. The neckline on Cynthia Erivo’s Fendi Haute Couture dress combined with the sleeves is a real fashion moment, and the graphic print just completes it all. Stunning!

Anne Hathaway

The glamour! Anne Hathaway looked like a goddess in gold in her Atelier Versace gown. The actress announced her second pregnancy back in July.

Lupita Nyong’o

In a red carpet full of bright color, Lupita Nyong’o truly stood out in this stunning, flesh-toned, Michael Kors Collection gown. Between the dress and her gold accessories (including that incredible hair accessory), we have to bow down to the style.

Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore ditched the dress for an Elie Saab jumpsuit with a cape, and she looked like a red carpet superhero. The sleek bun and black color let the silhouette really shine.
