Lockdown isn't ideal, but if there's one upside to staying inside the whole time (aside from, you know, not contributing to the pandemic) it's that Tom Hardy is going to grace our screens every night this week with a new Cbeebies' Bedtime Story.
Better cross 'pacing the living room' off your diary for the week and clear some space at 6:50pm every weekday. Tom is reading the stories from his own garden (so he's in line with social distancing measures) and in the company of his French Bulldog, Blue.
He kicked off the week last night with Hug Me by Simone Ciraolo. Which started like this, "Sometimes, on a day like this, I feel strong and happy," Tom says. "But on other days, I just need somebody to give me a hug. Tonight’s bedtime story is all about a little cactus called Felipe, who just wants a hug too."
