The best puffer coats for staying warm all winter

Now that hot girl summer is officially over, it’s time to embrace fluffy lady fall. As the temperatures drop and the winds get chilly, it’s time to get serious about our outerwear and prepare to go into survival mode—in style, of course. Puffer coats are winter’s obvious go-to garments for the season, and for good reason: a) they keep you super snug, and b) they’re cute as hell!

Brands have rolled out a wide array of designs to fit every style. From trendy metallics and bright colors to muted neutrals and autumnal patterns, there’s something to fit every aesthetic. Plus, many companies have jumped on the sustainable bandwagon, using recycled materials, ethical down fillings, and planet-friendly ways of manufacturing their clothing—rejoice!
