Not to sound like a broken record, but we here at T&C think there are certain pieces that every woman should have in her warm-weather wardrobe: a classic denim jacket for chillier days, a breezy linen dress and floral frock, an investment purse (like say, the editor-fave Gucci Horsebit 1955 shoulder bag), and last but not least, comfortable white sneakers.

If you ask me, owning a pair or two (or six, if you're like me) of crisp kicks is non-negotiable. Sure, sandals are a seasonal footwear option, but nothing freshens up a spring/summer 'fit like white sneakers. You can wear them casually with jeans and a tee, pair them with a stylish spring dress, or you can dress them up with a blazer and trousers—there's virtually no wrong way to style them. Heck, even glamorous royals like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle love a good white sneaker moment. So if you're in the market for a new pair to add to your collection, I urge you to give Margaux's take on the staple shoe a go.

For starters, Margaux literally makes some of the most comfortable shoes around. Walk into our Midtown office, and you'll likely see two or three editors wearing a pair from the NYC-based brand. From their iconic City Sandals (one of my all-time faves!) and loafers to their ballet flats and boots, every Margaux shoe is thoughtfully designed and will just never disappoint.

The Margaux sneakers, in particular, are absurdly cushiony. You won't need to break them in because straight off the bat it feels like you're walking on pillows. Not only that, they have supple-sleek leather upper that adds an elevated touch to every kind of ensemble. I find that white canvas sneakers can make outfits feel too laidback, but these Margaux sneakers are the perfect sweet spot between casual and dressy. I'd go as far as to say that they're suitable enough to wear in more formal office settings.

Another pro: they're super easy to spot clean if you want to keep them in pristine shape. Personally, I don't mind some slight scuffing—I think it adds a level of coolness to them.
