They might look towering but reviewers swear these platform heels are comfortable:"Gorgeous shoes; very comfortable and look so flattering on. I’ve had so many compliments!" No wonder the tan versions have already sold out, and the black and white styles are selling fast. Luckily, you can still get your hands on most sizes in this lovely eye-catching gold colour.

Available in tan, stone, gold and dark navy, these elegant mini-wedges are perfect if you like a shoe that isn't completely flat. Handily, they also feature antibacterial technology to keep feet feeling fresh and they're a hit with shoppers, too: "So comfortable and look fabulous, love them".

They're dressy without being too high (the heels are 2.5 inches), designer quality without the hefty price tag, and are available in cerise, ivory, black and this silver shade. If that's not enough to convince you to buy them, maybe this shopper's review will: "Just the right heel height. Surprisingly supportive considering they are so strappy. Extremely comfortable and the colour goes with everything."

If you think there's no such thing as a chic flip flop, M&S has proved you wrong. These are casual enough to wear around the house or to the beach, but the flatform and real leather fabric give them a much more luxe look than your average rubber variety. "I thought at first that these were a bit heavy compared to my other flip flops, but after a couple of wears I am really pleased with them. Very similar to other designer sliders, same quality at less than half the price."
