Gone with 2019 and in with 2020! We can already predict that it will be a year of stellar looks. Take Gucci Mane, for example. The rapper greeted the New Year poolside with a cup of coffee in a full graphic print lounge set—sans undershirt!—with pool slides. He accessorized with a diamond encrusted watch, a chain-link bracelet, and, yes, a huge silver necklace with a plaque that was as big as an iPhone. Another person soaking up the rays? Bella Hadid. She sat somewhere warm poolside in French-cut white underwear with an oversized Chrome Hearts chambray shirt (also sans undershirt!) and her signature noughties-era square-shaped sunglasses. The crowning accessory here was a large red flower that she placed behind her ear.

The entertainer Rosalía also ushered in a well-dressed 2020 in a fierce leather look. She posed on a couch with lush flora in the background, wearing a late ’90s-style black leather ensemble that was punctuated with a bright red Louis Vuitton purse that came with a monogrammed handle.

Speaking of accessories, we have to say that Tracee Ellis Ross has mastered the art of beautifully piled-on jewelry. The actress posed with armfuls of gold bracelets along with a necklace, too. Her pearl-lined earrings — embossed with the profile of a young black woman — came courtesy of Rihanna’s Fenty, part of the musician-designer’s The Cameo collection. Talk about a statement-making piece for the New Year.
