The Best Fashion Instagrams of the Week: Kim Kardashian West Wears Sparkly Underwear, Bella Hadid Channels the Future

It’s been quite the week on Instagram, starting with Kim Kardashian West, who posted the selfie seen around the world. Much like her sister Kendall Jenner, who sported a glinting pair of underwear to the 2017 Met Gala, KKW wore a bedazzled string thing. Unlike Jenner, however, Kardashian West skipped the gown and went the topless route. The bare look was so bold, it almost distracted us from one of the main events of the week—the Paris couture shows. And speaking of which, Chanel’s outing was particularly stunning. Just look to the house’s longtime fit model Amanda Sanchez, who was prepped by Karl Lagerfeld before she hit the runway. What’s more, Mr. Lagerfeld had his own little beauty moment: The designer debuted a very manicured beard. Never has a five o’clock shadow looked so polished—trés chic.

Another man making a couture-worthy statement was dancer-turned-model Alton Mason. He looked ever so regal—and relaxed—reclining in a Gucci monogram tracksuit. Russian concept store owner Olga Karput also kicked back in style, hanging out like a Vetements babushka with a head kerchief and floral gloves. Where others opted for a retro look, Bella Hadid was truly living in the future. She’s been taking style cues from The Matrix for a hot minute now, especially with her long leather coats and itty bitty sunglasses. This week was no different: She struck a mean Trinity pose between two sports cars. Vroom vroom!
