The Best Fashion Instagrams of the Week: Dua Lipa, Lizzo, and More

Most people are still staying indoors, including Hailey Bieber who uploaded a Polaroid-esque snapshot of herself with enormous oven mitts on and sunglasses. Was she baking something in extreme bright light? Possibly! Regardless of what she is doing, we are happy that she is hanging around her home.

Meanwhile in London, Dua Lipa headed out to purchase dishwater tablets in a fun look: The singer wore a knotted floral print top with a pair of black baggy pants. Of course, the accessory du jour was a white face mask, rendering Ms. Lipa almost unrecognizable. All the way stateside, model Amber Valetta also ventured outside (and documented it on Instagram). She walked her tiny pooch in a blue zip-up hoodie, gray sweats, and pink sneakers.

There has also been plenty of outfit experimentation while people are staying inside. Take Halsey who posted a photo of herself in a Sailor Moon-style look. The singer, who wore a pink wig, hung out among some trees presumably in her backyard, and wore a schoolgirl’s top cropped at mid-bust along with a pink tie, pink high waisted shorts, and a pair of pink lace-up thick-soled boots. Nothing like a funky rose-colored image appearing on the feed.

And while people are staying relatively isolated, there was some celebration to be had this past week for Earth Day, which was Wednesday. Lizzo paid homage to nature by filming herself tending to her plants. Floating about her garden in a sheer, glittering robe with fur trim on sleeves, the singer watered succulents and basked in the sun rays. What a beautiful way to say “thank you” to Mother Earth.
