Best Dog-Friendly Vacations on the West Coast

Because dogs. And vacation. And the beach. And love. Here are 8 irresistible dog-lover vacation spots in California, Oregon, and Washington.

Cannon Beach, Oregon

Fetch! Is this the most dog-friendly town in America? It might be. This Oregon charmer has numerous pet-friendly hotels, plus restaurants where dogs are welcome at outdoor tables. Get your pooch all exercised out on Cannon Beach's northern end, across the mouth of Ecola Creek. (Make sure your dog is leashed or under voice control.) Back in town, there's sweet canine shopping to be had at Puppy Love by the Sea.

Stay! The Ocean Lodge takes your four-legged loved ones for $19/night, and will pamper them with a basket stuffed with linens, treats, and chew toys. It even has an outdoor dog shower. For $15/night at the Surfsand Resort, your pooch gets a beach towel, bowl, and basket of treats.
