The Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes on Instagram
Halloween is officially here today, but this past week, there has already been an impressively creative array of celebrity costumes on Instagram. Among the highlights are the stars who have dressed up as iconic movie characters they perhaps wish they could’ve played. Elizabeth Hurley transformed herself into Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, samurai sword and all; Tracee Ellis Ross went the scarier route, dressing as Lupita Nyong’o’s evil twin in Us; Kate Beckinsale even went to the bodega dressed in Audrey Hepburn’s full Breakfast at Tiffany’s garb. (Grabbing a snack has never looked so chic!)
Meanwhile, Gabrielle Union reprised her role as the Clovers’s head cheerleader Isis in Bring It On. (I said, brr, it’s cold in here, there must be some Clovers in the atmosphere!) The actor looked as though she were plucked right out of the year 2000, when the cult classic film first came out. The only thing that could have made the costume better: if Kirsten Dunst hopped into the ’gram with her, spirit fingers and all.
Other honorable mentions? Cardi B as a sexy nurse, supermodel Cindy Crawford hitting up the star-studded Casamigos bash as a disco diva (husband Rande Gerber also got groovy), Nina Dobrev dressing as someone only a true fashion insider would know, and more.
