Banana splits are the OG, best way to eat ice cream, but they can be a bit messy and a lot for one person to eat alone (though I've definitely tried). Of course, Ben & Jerry's is here to solve all of our problems with its new banana split inspired flavor.

The new flavor is called Chocolate Peanut Butter Split, and it has all the perks of a sundae but comes in a pint. It was first posted by @TheImpulsiveBuy when it showed up—no announcement—in the ice cream aisle.

It's made up of chocolate and banana ice creams mixed with mini peanut butter cups for the sweet and salty combo of our dreams. Of course we already know a similar combo works because Chunky Monkey, one of the line's most popular flavors, is made with banana ice cream and chocolate fudge.

The bad news is this flavor is only available at certain stores. As you can see, it's rocking an "exclusive" label, and Ben & Jerry's apparently confirmed to CandyHunting that the flavor is an Albertsons exclusive. Albertsons stores include Albertsons, Acme Markets, Jewel-Osco, Safeway, and Shaw's, among a few others. Delish reached out to Ben & Jerry's to confirm but did not immediately hear back.

In case you don't happen to live or work next to one of these stores, you can probably just crush up some Reese's Cups in your Chunky Monkey ice cream and call it a day. Or cross your fingers that the release expands everywhere. That, too!
