Ben & Jerry's New Limited-Edition Coffee Flavor Supports The Movement For Black Lives And The People’s Response Act

When a new ice cream flavor hits the market, we all get excited. And when it’s from Ben & Jerry’s, we get extra excited because we know how amazing it will be, no matter what that flavor is.

Well, it’s time to get extra extra excited because Ben & Jerry’s did just drop a new flavor, and it’s also for a good cause. It’s called Change Is Brewing, and it is made with cold brew coffee ice cream, marshmallow swirls, and fudge brownies. It looks so gooey and chunky and delicious.

The flavor was unveiled to support the People’s Response Act, a bill that aims to address the disproportionate amount of police violence against those with mental illnesses and/or other health complications while focusing on a health-based and inclusive approach to public safety.

“The flavor supports the vision of the world in which every community is safe and everyone including Black and brown people can thrive,” Ben & Jerry’s U.S. activism manager Jabari Paul said in a press conference.

Change Is Brewing is also made in collaboration with Movement For Black Lives and impressive businesses. The cold brew comes from BLK & Bold, the brownies come from long-time Ben & Jerry supplier Greyston Bakery, and the art on the packaging is by artist Laci Jordan.

The new ice cream flavor is currently available at participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops and retail locations across the country. And remember, your purchase will help make a change.
