Ben Higgins and His Fiancée Are Waiting to Have Sex Until Marriage

Ben Higgins recently got engaged to his girlfriend Jessica Clarke, and it looks like they’re waiting till marriage to enter their own private ~fantasy suite~. By which I mean they aren’t having sex at all.

Ben revealed that he and Jessica were sleeping in separate rooms during an appearance on Nick Viall’s podcast The Viall Files, saying, “Right now, she has a bedroom upstairs at her parents’ house. I’m in the downstairs,” adding that “It’s like a respect level...and also just like how—what the logistics of it is.”

Nick went ahead and asked Ben if he’s had sex in the past couple weeks what with this unusual sleeping arrangement, and he said, “Definitely not this week, and not in the last, like, year and a half.” He then confirmed that he and Jessica are waiting to have sex until they get married, which might not be for a while considering recent global shutdowns.

“I have a feeling it’s gonna be a longer engagement and here’s why,” Ben explained. “We don’t know what this virus is going to affect. It could be here another two months, two and a half months, at that point, weddings are going to be pushed back, venues are going to be booked, and I don’t want to add stress to a really fun and joyful time knowing that this is the real deal.”
