Ben Affleck Called Out Matt Damon’s Finsta

OK, internet, do your thing.

Perennial BFFs Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are proving again that they're still the best of friends. While their bro-ments have been few and far between lately (blame quarantine, blame significant others, blame whatever you want, really), the two managed to get together for a good cause. The dynamic duo teamed up with Omaze to benefit Water.org and the Eastern Congo Initiative. The highest bidder will nab lunch with the two of them and their banter and help get clean water to people that need it.

The promo clip includes plenty of good-natured back-and-forths, with each of them taking jabs at each other's most notable roles, like Batman and Jason Bourne. Things got interesting when Affleck asked Damon about his social media accounts — specifically his Instagram. As far as fans know, Damon doesn't have an account, but he admitted that he's got one a secret one. So, internet sleuths, get on it, because Affleck had to explain to Damon exactly what that was called, so it definitely won't be that hard to find.

"Finsta," Affleck explained. "That's what the kids call it."

Jeremy Renner and Robert Pattinson got name-dropped, too, thanks to their participation in the Batman and Bourne franchises.

Affleck also spread the news about the contest on Instagram.

"Matt and I have joined forces with @omaze to offer you the chance to come and hang out with us in Hollywood (once it’s safe to travel) and help @easterncongo & @water provide resources and support to communities in need," he wrote. "Enter now at omaze.com/la (link in bio)."

The lunch will happen in Los Angeles, according to Affleck, "once it's safe to travel." Fans will be able to catch Affleck on the big screen when Deep Water manages to premiere (2021, if everything goes as planned). Damon's next project is The Last Duel, which he stars in and produced.
