Bella Hadid Wore Three Major Monochromatic Outfits

Mixing and matching colors and patterns is always an option in style but Bella Hadid has spent much of January making the case for monochromatic fits. In addition to sporting a sparkly bodysuit and a new take on traditional swimwear, the model has also shown an adoration for outfits made of one solid color.

Bella's penchant for mono-colored 'fits started back on January 4. At the time, Bella chose to wear an entirely black outfit. She paired the black leather ensemble, which featured a tank and pants, with a matching purse. She also casually carried a leather jacket in her arms. Although her outfit was all black, she added some color via her makeup choices. Wearing her hair in an updo, she showed off a smoky eye made with glittery nude brown hues.

Just a few short days later, on January 11, the model was spotted again in a monochromatic OOTD. Spending the evening with Dua Lipa, Bella was photographed wearing a white, fuzzy jacket. She layered the cozy outerwear over a white shirt and white pants. This time, she added color via a bright neon green bag.

For her final monochrome moment, the model spent January 14 in a blue Christian Dior tracksuit. She paired the athleisure look with a black handbag, white sneakers, and tiny black sunglasses.

It's likely that we'll see Bella resume a wardrobe of coordinating, mixed colors in the future, but this isn't the first time she's made a fashion statement using just one color. Back in September 2018, she coordinated with Kendall Jenner in an entirely orange outfit. She also once wore all white for a street-style choice that we're still fawning over.

As Bella so effortlessly proved, it is possible to create an outfit using only one color. And if you're feeling inspired by her choices, you could take an additional cue from the star and add a pop of color via your choice of accessory or makeup.
