Bella Hadid Shows Off Blonde Hair on Instagram
Bella Hadid just keeps getting blonder and blonder.
The model showed off her light hair on Instagram this weekend, with a casual selfie while making a kissy face at the camera. In the pic, Bella is seen lounging against a sea of pillows with her long, honey-blond hair falling over her shoulders. The photo was posted sans caption, because sometimes a ‘gram just says it all.
Fans and celebs alike took to the comments to compliment Bella on her lighter hair. “A blonde girl!!!?” Hailey Bieber exclaimed, while Halsey wrote: “Blonde Bel is my new fav.” Anwar Hadid, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian were also among the stars who were clearly wowed by Bella’s fresh look.
The model’s lighter hair color was spotted earlier this week, when paparazzi snapped a picture of Bella out and about in L.A. sporting a hat, with blonde tresses peeking out from under the cap. Bella has also given fans a peek at her ever-evolving look with selfies documenting her blonde journey throughout the summer.
While Bella has often been associated with her chestnut brown hair, blonde is actually the model’s natural color. In 2016, Bella explained to Allure that she started dyeing her hair brunette to distinguish herself from her sister Gigi. “I just have a darker personality,” she said at the time. “And my sister being blonde and me being brunette, it's a good separation.”
Bella’s latest post comes just a few days after rumors broke that she and The Weeknd had broken up (again). While neither celeb has addressed the rumors, a source told E! News that “they are in different places right now, physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for her Fashion Week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.” E!’s source added that there might be hope for the couple yet, as “they hope to get back together at one point but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects.”
