Bella Hadid Allegedly Reached Out to Selena Gomez After Instagram Comment Drama

• Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez are finally on good terms after their Instagram drama.

• Reports say Bella and Selena had a chat about it, and Bella said she deleted the picture because she didn’t like it—that’s all!

If you’re a person who regularly uses social media, especially Instagram—aka the grandaddy of all social media as far as I’m concerned—then you absolutely know all the drama that can come from sneaky Likes and comments. Which is why when Selena Gomez commented on Bella Hadid’s picture last week and then Bella deleted said picture, people were wondering if there was a heavy dose of shade being thrown in Selena’s direction!

So exactly what did Selena comment on Bella’s post say? “Stunning” plus a 😍 emoji, which honestly was super sweet! It was a nice gesture (considering they both have dated The Weeknd in the past) and I’m sure Selena was just trying to be kind. But after Bella deleted the post, things got real awkward real fast.

A Selena fan account posted the interaction and wrote, “She’s all about supporting women. You all just can’t take it nicely. BTW Ms. Hadid deleted the post,” to which Selena replied “That sucks 😢.”

Selena then unfollowed Bella (Bella never followed her in the first place, LOL), and not too long after, the same Selena fan account posted a screenshot of an Elle story that detailed the Instagram drama. Oh, and by the way—Selena responded to that too! “NO,” Selena wrote. “I shouldn’t of [sic] spoken without knowing the truth. I’m sorry. Please don’t be hurtful. She is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding.”

WHEW! So now that I got y’all up to speed, there is a silver lining to be found in all this. According to TMZ, there's absolutely no bad blood between Bella and Selena, because they had a proper conversation about the deleted post.

Bella allegedly told Selena that she took down the photo with her comment because she simply didn't like the shot. This makes sense, right? Bella is a model and has a critical eye for this kind of thing. And as far as their beef concerning The Weeknd, TMZ sources say that’s completely behind them now—Bella's totally over it.

So will Selena and Bella become BFFs now? Ehh, probably not. But this did give Sel the confidence to follow Bella on IG again. And no, Bella *still* does not follow Selena back. Now let’s move on, shall we?
