Bella Hadid Seemingly Deleted an Instagram After Selena Gomez Left a Heart-Eye Comment

Hmm.

A few weeks ago, Selena Gomez restored peace and balance to the world when she re-followed model Bella Hadid on Instagram. The two women had followed each other on the social media platform in the past, but when Selena started dating Bella's ex, The Weeknd, they hit the "unfollow" button. It happens! Both women no longer date the musician; he and Selena split in fall of 2017, and while he and Bella got back together, they broke up again a few months ago. That being said, Selena has been more active on Instagram as of late, and she apparently decided to follow Bella once again.

However, something a little fishy happened with one of Bella's recent posts. She shared a photo of herself posing for Dior, captioning it, "A Dior thing," and Selena commented with the heart-eyes emoji, adding "stunning" for good measure. It was a stunning photo, and we would have commented the same thing! But shortly thereafter, eagle-eyed fans noticed something was up with the post: Bella had deleted it from her feed! A few Selena fan accounts grabbed proof of the exchange before it was removed, because nothing on the internet is ever really gone.

However, Bella's post-n-delete doesn't necessarily mean there's bad blood between the two, and we definitely shouldn't jump to conclusions. We've all posted a photo and then later decided it wasn't the right vibe and removed it from our 'grams, and that's probably exactly what happened to Bella. Supermodels, they're just like us!

Emoji comments aside, Selena has been busy on Instagram in recent weeks. She's been posting cute pics of herself eating pasta, taking her little sister to Frozen 2 in Arendelle-worthy outfits, and hanging with her pal and collaborator Julia Michaels. She recently spoke out about taking a break from the platform after being body-shamed, saying that social media critics "really messed me up for a bit."

“I’m very happy with living my life and being present. Because that’s it. Similar to me posting a photo and walking away," Sel said about her relationship with social media. "I will do a red carpet, I will do whatever. I don’t need to see it. I participated. I felt wonderful and that’s where the extent of it is. I don't care to expose myself to everyone and hear what they have to say about it." Clearly, Selena's in a healthy mind-set regarding Instagram, and we're happy to see she's setting boundaries and sharing a little bit of her life with us along the way.
