Bella took a break from the baggy biker coats, tuxedo vests, and khaki dad shorts she's been wearing to don something a little more glitzy to attend God's Love We Deliver and Michael Kors' 2022 Golden Heart Awards in New York City. The supermodel isn't afraid of a plunge (see her Morticia Addams-inspired Versace gown for proof of that) and the Golden Heart Awards were no exception as Bella showed up and showed out in a shimmery, super low-cut Michael Kors gown.
The midi-length dress boasted gorgeous ruching at the waist, nixing the need for a belt to create that classic Golden Age A-line silhouette. The gown also featured long, skintight sleeves, thousands of shimmering gold paillettes (think flatter, fancier sequins), and a daring open "V" neckline. The model posed for the cameras with all the grace of an Old Hollywood actress, showing off a pair of strappy, metallic heels under her tea-length hemline.
Bella Hadid loves a strong glam moment (Bleached brows? Yup. No eyebrows at all? You already know!) but chose to have makeup artist Sofia Tilbury create a softer, more glowy makeup look instead. Tilbury achieved Bella's light brow, nude lip, and a sheer flush of light pink blush using Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream, Beauty Light Wand in the shade Peachgasm, and Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer. The supermodel wore her hair slicked back into a sleek up-do, with her hair dramatically parted on the side to show off a pair of dangling geometric earrings.
Raised funds from the 2022 Golden Heart Awards will go towards God's Love We Deliver, an NYC-based organization that delivers meals to the homes of people with chronic or severe illnesses. Bella was awarded the Golden Heart Award for Mental Health Advocacy as someone who has spent years using her online platform to bring awareness to mental health struggles.
The supermodel has spoken out about chronic depression, anxiety, ADD, OCD, and other things that have made her 'feel unworthy of life at times."
"Dealing with mental illness for most of my life, bringing awareness to the education of mental health through my platform is something that I will continue to do until our mental is just as respected as our physical. I want everyone who struggles daily to know that you are not alone," wrote Bella.
