13 Products Byrdie Editors Swear By for Better Cleavage

Perhaps it was the viral video of Rihanna applying Body Lava all over her chest and décolletage earlier this year or just the sizzle-inducing turn of the season, but cleavage—specifically shimmering, incandescently alluring cleavage—has been at the top of Byrdie HQ's mind as of late. And honestly, we're ready to embrace it. (Especially considering the influx of chest, neck, and, yes, bust-boosting beauty products that have made their way across our desks recently—a pattern we're not mad at.)

Of course, some products have been better than others, and sometimes we simply revert to the trusted formulas or skin-enhancing tricks we've picked up from makeup artists along the way to get the job done instead. Regardless, the end goal is a highlighted, healthy-looking décolletage we're proud (and excited!) to show off just in time for skin season. Ahead, 13 products Byrdie editors personally love to slather all over our cleavage and happen to think you would too—keep scrolling.

We get it, the name is a bit intense, but that doesn't mean we're not smitten with the impressive results of this luscious bust cream. Strategically formulated with volufiline, the lotion not only firms and tones the skin around your cleavage, but it also stimulates the cell growth so the skin actually appears plumper and fuller in the long run. Then, Matrixyl 3000 tightens as hyaluronic acid and a host of other amino acids encourage collagen production.

Featuring medical-grade silicone and intriguing wound-healing technology, this pad from Sio Beauty is essentially like a magical sticker that works wonders for your cleavage. According to the brand, "it adheres comfortably to create a moisture-intensive 'microclimate,'" which in turn hydrates and plumps while pressing away any wrinkles that have formed in the area of your décolletage.

A favorite collarbone-enhancer of our senior editor, Hallie Gould, this luxe oil apparently delivers an effervescent glow when applied to the chest area for an alluring finish. The bottle may be small, but just a drop goes a long way.

I first discovered this under-the-radar body lotion when I witnessed celebrity makeup artist Jenna Kristina apply it all over actress Madeline Brewer prior to the SAG Awards. I quite literally witnessed Brewer's skin transform into a milky, toned, and radiant abyss right before my eyes and have been a believer ever since. Of course, the potion can be applied anywhere on the body, but it's especially magical on the neck, chest, and breast area.

Then, to further enhance the magic of the potion above, Kristina dusted a healthy amount of this luminizing powder from Dior all over Brewer's body as well—hitting her clavicles and cleavage with a second helping.

This brilliant product from Nannette de Gaspé is pretty legendary here at Byrdie HQ. It's designed to be used as a four-week-long treatment, and you basically use one set of infusers for two days before discarding. Then, repeat the ritual for six more days. For the second, third, and fourth weeks of treatment, the brand recommends using one set of the infusers for two days and then discard. The end result: slightly reshaped, contoured, and lifted cleavage thanks in part to hyaluronic acid and marine collagen. Of course, results aren't crazy noticeable, but we definitely experienced a subtle difference.

Yes, at $60, this multitasking décolletage and hand cream is a little bit of an investment. But ever since receiving a bottle of my own a few weeks back, I can't stop applying it. According to the brand, it utilizes an exclusive molecule known as Pro-Niacin to "repair DNA, boost cell turnover, repair wounds, address hyperpigmentation, and reduce visible signs of aging." Plus, this quick-absorbing lotion also contains licorice and Luna-B White, which I've already noticed has reduced some discoloration I have on my chest and hands. I'm obsessed.

Assistant editor Maya Allen tells me this is one of her all-time favorite products to sweep across her collarbones and cleavage. It's slow-baked, silky, and infused with vitamin E.

Byrdie's resident pixie, features editor Amanda Montell says this affordably priced powder is her personal go-to when it comes to the art of cleavage-enhancing. It possesses a hint of intriguing luminosity yet is still subtle and lightweight enough to look believable.

ICYMI, we happen to think this cult-loved shimmer oil from Tom Ford would be Samantha Jones–approved if the show were still going strong today. But according to Maya, this platinum and gold-leaf tinted elixir is also her A+ favorite when it comes to elevating the look of her chest with a touch of glimmer.

Sadly, the infamous Fenty Beauty Body Lava (which Editorial Director Faith Xue hailed as her favorite for the ultimate chest glow) is gone. However, this highly addicting oil from Sol de Janeiro is just as good (or perhaps even better), still available, and delectably scented.

We'll put it this way: If there were ever a brand we'd entrust with the perkiness of our décolletage and cleavage, it would likely be, first and foremost, Victoria's Secret. Equipped with "marine collagen microspheres" and "light-diffusing pearls," this blurring cream effortlessly smooths, nourishes, and, yes, subtly plumps the skin wherever you choose to apply it. I've been using it pre-drinks the past few weeks and am convinced it actually does the trick for a slightly "tauter" appearance.

Recently, I tried 10 new self-tanning formulas—I'm devoted, I know. And this wondrous oil from Tan-Luxe (one of my all-time favorite brands when it comes to all things self-tanning) made the cut. Not only is it ridiculously easy to use and deftly able to deliver the prettiest of does of color, but it also delivers a flattering sheen to the skin that magically never feels greasy or sticky. Quite simply, it's wonderful.
