Pumpkin and skull planters are only a fraction of the products out there that can help spook up your plants for Halloween this year. If decor that's less of a hassle to put together is more your speed, you can buy Beetlejuice-inspired sandworm tail stakes to stick in your planters–no repotting necessary!

The hand-painted stakes from artbybayley on Etsy take probably less than a minute to assemble. All you have to do is stick them in the planters you already own. The sandworm tails are made with clay, galvanized nails, and acrylic paint. The black-and-white striped pattern is inspired by Beetlejuice’s striped suit in the classic 1988 horror comedy. The stakes range in length from 2 to 6 inches. You can request specific sizes when ordering, and they come in sets of three for $20.

Customers are loving the way these stakes look in their plants. “I put them in an aloe vera plant, and it came out really nice,” one person wrote in a five-star review. Other reviewers suggest specifying what size stakes you want, so you have a better chance of getting the exact look you’re going for.

If your plants are already all dolled up, you could stick these sandworm tails in grass for a creepy display along the sidewalk leading up to your front door. You could even simply stick them in an opaque vase with faux plants. Get creative with it!
