'Bachelor' alum Becca Tilley, 33, says she gets Botox 'every 3-4 months': 'I'm not fully frozen'

Becca Tilley is getting candid about injectables.

The former Bachelor contestant, who recently joined longtime girlfriend Hayley Kiyoko in her music video “For the Girls,” did an AMA on her Instagram Story on Tuesday during which a follower asked her whether she’s ever used injectables. Tilley replied, “Thank you for asking respectfully and I get Botox every 3-4 months. I always say ‘I still want to be able to make expressions’ so that I'm not fully frozen, but I like the glow/brightness it gives me.”

Tilley shared that she also gets lip injections to give herself a fuller pout, but cautioned, “I can't stress enough how important it is to go to someone who conservative/natural and using product that feels and looks natural. IT’S CRUCIAL and makes all the difference in my opinion.”

It's become more and more common to discuss fillers and Botox openly. Bachelor Nation’s Tia Booth got candid in 2021, for example, about getting lip fillers.

“I don’t know where the filler goes, but I think she only does like half a syringe,” she wrote on Instagram in response to a fan inquiring about her injectable routine. “And I just do it when my lips feel flat again.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe, who appeared alongside Tilley on The Bachelor, also previously said she had lip injections, as well as Botox to “lift the brows” on Instagram.

And it’s not just reality stars who are opening up about getting touch-ups. In 2020, Gwyneth Paltrow shared that she gets Xeomin injections to fill her frown lines. She told Harper’s Bazaar, “I think it’s nice when women share, because there’s a lot of shame around surgery or injectables or fillers, and it would be nice if people felt confident about the choices they were making. But if they want to have a beauty secret, that’s okay, too. I'm an open book — I've shared what works for me, because that's how I've always learned."

It’s a shift from how many stars wanted to keep their injectable decisions hush-hush. While her plush lips were a major factor in her promoting her line of lip kits for Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Jenner wasn’t always open about getting filler. After months of speculation, she revealed on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2015 that she gets “temporary lip fillers” to combat an “insecurity.”

“I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth,” she explained at the time. “But I didn’t lie.”
