The beauty secret behind Kristen Stewart’s locket necklace

We all have that one item that we rely on to finish an outfit, whether it’s a special pair of earrings or a go-to ring. For Kristen Stewart, it’s a locket necklace.
The Spencer actor's neck bling, a square pendant on a chunky silver chain, seems to her favourite piece of jewellery at the moment.
To us, it might look like a normal necklace but no, no... it is so much more than that. It turns out that Kristen’s locket necklace is filled with a lip tint. Yep, you read that right.
Makeup artist Jillian Dempsey created her Lip Locket Necklaces as part of her eponymous cosmetics brand. The necklace comes with four interchangeable pans, so that you can switch up your lip tint depending on your mood. Seriously, how genius is that?
As for the lip tint itself, it's made with vegan ingredients, including shea butter and avocado oil, to keep lips nourished and protected. Plus, the four shades cover mulberry, red, nude and pink – meaning you're covered for every occasion.
Jillian, who also happens to be Kristen’s go-to makeup artist, has been posting various pictures of the actress wearing the beautiful necklace on Instagram, including her Spencer premiere tour and a recent photoshoot for The New York Times.
It turns out, the Lip Locket Necklace has a special back story behind it. Almost a decade ago, Jillian designed a silver Punk Lock Necklace for her dear friend Kristen. From then onwards, the Twilight star was rarely seen without it. Sadly for Kristen’s fans, though, the necklace was a one-of-a-kind, so we stuck to our Twilight charm bracelets instead (I couldn't have been the only one who had one?).
Thankfully, Julian launched the Lip Locket Necklace last month and the edgy punk design is inspired by Kristen’s original necklace.
But – you knew there was a but – it isn’t available in the UK yet. I KNOW.
The Lip Locket is sold exclusively through Jilian’s app Fyfe Beauty, which is currently only available for downloads in the US. Plus, it also comes with a $485 (around £358) price tag, or more if you opt for gold, meaning it requires dropping a hefty bit of cash. So pretty, though...
