Bear Grylls is the host of “World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji.” The reality competition show features 66 teams from 30 countries competing non-stop for 11 days across hundreds of miles of rugged terrain. In addition to hosting the 10-episode series, Grylls serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, whose credits include “Survivor.” “World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji” premieres Friday, Aug. 14 on Amazon Prime. Selena Gomez is stepping into the kitchen. The singer is learning how to cook with a little help from some famous chefs. In “Selena + Chef” the celeb is joined remotely by a different master chef, with a mission to create some delicious cuisine. Gomez is making these creations at home but not every dish is a success. The actress is also giving back, with each of the 10 episodes highlighting a food-related charity. “Selena + Chef” premieres Thursday, Aug. 13 on HBO Max.
