Carnival Costumes Are Bright, Sparkly, and Crazy All Over
While you were at work yesterday, revelers in Trinidad and Brazil hit the streets to party it up for Carnival 2016.
Carnival is a yearly celebration that occurs in several countries across the globe before the Catholic observance of Lent, an opportunity to let loose before hunkering down for a 40-day “fast” (during which Catholics are supposed to abstain from a vice like sugar or alcohol).
The whole day is whirl of a fringe, feathers, sequins, face paint—and lots of boobs and booty to boot (displayed by some of the most gorgeous people in the world). Check out the party in Port of Spain, Sao Paulo and Rio in the slideshow above.
