Barista reveals exactly how to order Vietnamese iced coffee at Starbucks
Vietnamese iced coffee is known for its perfect balance of bitter and sweet. A combination of strong coffee and sugary milk, it’s a perfect jolt of energy with great flavors. But it may not always be easy to pop into your local coffee shop and order this style of drink, so a Starbucks barista has revealed exactly what to order.
Gerri, AKA Your Friendly Barista on TikTok, shared the order on his account. Just tell the cashier you’d like an iced Venti double shot with classic syrup and extra vanilla sweet cream. That’s all!
“If you’re looking for something very strong and sweet at the same time, then this is for you,” he says.
Gerri’s TikTok was viewed over 656,000 times. Many were grateful for the ordering assistance.
“As someone who gets anxiety ordering literally any coffee, I just have to say bless your soul for making this account,” one person wrote.
“As a fellow Starbucks barista THANK YOU for saying the order correctly so that they know how to order it,” one added.
“Not to be dramatic but I want this pumped through my veins,” another said.
While it’s not a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee, it may get the job done if you have a craving. A more authentic version uses a Vietnamese press to brew the coffee, which is then mixed with ice and condensed milk.
