Barbra Streisand is 2024's SAG Life Achievement Award recipient, and fans couldn't be more elated that the iconic actress is being honored in such a big way.

The Funny Girl star attended the event held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Saturday, Feb. 24, wearing a gorgeous sequin gold ensemble paired with a velvet jacket and beret with gold embellishments, dazzling at the function while accepting her award and delivering an inspirational speech on stage.

Presented with the esteemed honor by Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper, the longtime Hollywood notable spoke on memorable moments from her career, actor Marlon Brando being her "first crush," not "liking reality" growing up and thus, wanting "to be in the movies," and much more.

Following Streisand's moment of glory, fans promptly took to social media with adoration for the multitalented actress-singer-producer.

"Anne Hathaway crying at the sight of Barbra Streisand. Same," one admitted, after seeing The Princess Diaries star overwhelmed with emotion as Streisand took the stage.

"You know who's always been that girl...Barbra Streisand! Well deserved honor. #SAGAwards," another gushed, while a third wrote, "Barbra Streisand is such a queen i love her."

"Find someone who looks at you the way everyone looks at Barbra Streisand," another joked.

Someone else insisted "we don’t talk enough about barbra streisand," as an additional social media user added, "That VOICE!!!!! Oh @BarbraStreisand, I never tire of that voice!"

"Barbra Streisand is a legend #SAGAwards," yet another simply confirmed.

Streisand got her career start in the 1960s, where she acted and sang in early theater roles and on Broadway.

Since then, the 75-year-old has racked up countless accolades over the years. She has been awarded two Oscars, five Emmys, ten Grammys (including the Legend Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award), a Tony Award, 11 Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award, three Peabodys, and the Director’s Guild Award for her concert special—the only artist to receive honors in all of those areas," according to her biography.

In addition, Streisand has also received the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the Kennedy Center Honor. She also received the National Medal of Arts from President Clinton, the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama, and France’s Légion d’Honneur.

A truly standout talent, the Back to Brooklyn star is the first woman to direct, produce, write, and star in a major motion picture, the first woman composer to receive an Academy Award, the only recording artist who has achieved No. 1 albums in six consecutive decades, and the first and only woman to receive a Golden Globe Award for Best Director.

Needless to say, the SAG Life Achievement Award is well-deserved for someone with such a lengthy list of industry accomplishments!
