Bandai Namco Announces New Arcade Bar
Looking to add to Shinjuku's nightlife, Bandai Namco has announced the upcoming opening of "Namco Tokyo." The 15,403-square-foot arcade bar will be located in the recently built Tokyo Kabukicho Tower skyscraper. The amusement arcade complex will feature music and playlounge Asobinotes, an arcade, AI DJ game music performance, and a bar complete with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Asobinotes provides entertainment in the form of game music and remixes from a cast of animated DJ characters operated by Bandai Namco’s AI technology. While experiences include the crane games at the Banpreya Tokyo Figure Collection, Gashapon Bandai Official Shop with 250 capsule toy machines and the Gashapon Odyssey machine, and Ichibankuji Official Shop offering prize drawing promotions. Rounding up the space is the One Piece Card Game Official Shop open for veteran and beginner players.
Aside from serving beverages, Asobinotes will also deliver food from late-night parfait cafe chain Parfaiteria Bel and tins of regional specialties courtesy of Cannederful.
Namco Tokyo is now open in Shinjuku's Tokyo Kabukicho Tower skyscraper and operates until 1 a.m.
