‘Bad Sisters’ Star Eve Hewson Responds to Nepo Baby Criticism

Eve Hewson is the latest celebrity who is speaking out about New York Magazine’s iconic nepo babies cover. In case you aren’t aware, Eve (who is incredibly talented, FYI) stars in Bad Sisters, which is truly the best show ever. She also happens to be Bono’s daughter (casual), which is where the whole nepo baby thing comes in.

While several celebs have been slightly salty about being dubbed nepo babies, Eve has taken a more humorous approach—although apparently, not everyone understood that she was joking around when she tweeted these musings the other day:

Eve clarified her position on the nepo baby saga on on December 24, writing in part, “For those of you who have just tuned in to my existence, I am asked about my privilege a lot. And I have always been very keen to state how much my father’s name helped me get a start in acting. I am beyond grateful for the opportunities I’ve had in my life. I chose to make a few jokes about it this round.”

She went on to add, “And to the Twitter bots and girlos calling me a spoiled brat…please don’t forget to have a sense of humor in life. And try to be kind. We all need a little bit more kindness in the world. Much love xx.”
