Bad Bunny's performance at tonight's MTV Video Music Awards was the ultimate party.

The "Moscow Mule" singer gave a remote performance from his World's Hottest Tour stop at Yankees Stadium for the VMAs. For the big night, Bad Bunny performed his hit song "Tití Me Preguntó" with a crew of backup dancers dressed in over-the-top wedding dresses and Puerto Rican and Dominican Republic flags framing the stage. The suave rapper and singer wore a metallic suit for the occasion, paired with white sneakers, oversized sunglasses, jewelry courtesy of Tiffany and Co., and his hair in his signature slick cornrows and a front braided tendril.

Moments after his performance, Bad Bunny was informed he won one of the biggest awards of the night—Artist of the Year—and gave a brief, but emotional speech to the massive crowd at Yankee Stadium. He's the first Latin artist to ever win Artist of the Year at the Video Music Awards.

The singer's current tour is one of the most successful for a Latinx artist in music history, with his tour stops in Miami, Chicago, Boston, and more being named some of the highest selling live concerts for a Latin recording artist. Bad Bunny reflected on the magnitude of his success in Harper's BAZAAR's September Icons issue.

"There comes a moment when you’re like, 'Diablo, estoy en un nivel muy alto.' And then the next year comes and you’re like, 'Diablo!' By the time I noticed that things were different, it didn’t really affect me. It may change things around me, but I stay the same. Soy un normalito. I am who I am," Bad Bunny told BAZAAR. "[My success] is for more than just myself, but also for the fans and for all of the Latinos in the world."
