We may have been wishing upon a star for The Bachelor's Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins to tie the knot, but this is definitely the next best thing! We just got word that the Bachelor Nation couple is set to host a new wedding special. No, not about their own nuptials—but about love stories just as fairy tale -worthy!

Entertainment Tonight reports that Higgins and Bushnell are going to be hosting Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings, a new Freeform special that's giving us a glimpse at the Cinderella weddings and storybook nuptials that Disney hosts around the globe. Who knew Higgins would go from a reality TV bachelor to a bonafide fairy godmother?
According to the gossip site, the 90-minute special—which is set to air on May 7 at 8 p.m. ET—will feature all the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into the over-the-top weddings and princess-worthy proposals taking place at Disney resorts and parks in Florida, California and Hawaii. OMG, we haven't been this excited for something since we were waiting to see who would score Nick Viall's final rose! And who knows? Maybe Higgins and Bushnell will get some inspiration for their own nuptials...
On season 20 of The Bachelor, Bushnell scored both the win and Higgins' heart and we've been waiting to see them tie the knot ever since. After the blonde beauty received the final rose and some Neil Lane bling from Higgins at the close of their season, the busy pair began planning their wedding. But the reality show duo later called off the ceremony—deciding to remain engaged, but slow down their rush to the altar.
"We weren't ready to jump into a wedding. And we both needed to take a step back from life in the limelight," Bushnell explained to People mag at the time. "I still want to marry Lauren, very much so," added Higgins. "Our relationship is better now than it has ever been."
Maybe taking on this Freeform feature will give 'em just the push they need to start working on their own wedding special—of the Chris Harrison-hosted variety, of course.
