‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Star Evan Bass Shuts Down Troll Who Slid Into His DMs to Cause Drama
Bachelor in Paradise star and noted erectile dysfunction specialist Evan Bass shut down a rude troll on Instagram, who felt the need to DM him and imply that he and his ex Carly Waddell are trying to “outdo” each other when it comes to their kids.
In response, Evan shared the post and wrote, “Omg, some of y’all need to chill. They have lots of grandparents who don’t see them as much and want to spoil. Jiminy Christmas. Also, there’s no such thing as too much Easter cheer.”
Evan also went ahead and shared a video about the post, saying, “Some other people are super kind and sticking up for me and saying all these sweet things. It just made me think about empathy and feel so bad for the people that are saying mean things. Is that weird?” He added that trolls “get a dopamine rush because they’re getting attention, which is what they deeply want. Then you get mad, and everyone gets mad and it’s no fun.”
As a reminder, Carly and Evan announced their separation on December 23, which came as a huge shock to fans who watched them get engaged on the Bachelor in Paradise season 3 finale. “We have made the difficult decision to separate,” the former couple said in a joint statement to People. “We will always cherish our time together and continue to have the utmost respect for one another as we focus on what’s best for the future of our family. We greatly appreciate everyone’s love and support and kindly ask that you please respect our family’s privacy as we navigate through this.”
