Bachelor in Paradise Season 6: Here’s Everything We Know So Far

Rejoice, Bachelor in Paradise fans: The sixth season of the hit ABC reality spin-off that sends past Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants to a gorgeous tropical locale in a quest for love—and let's be real, spon-con opportunities—returns tonight, August 5.

The first look at the season, via a trailer, promises we'll see "more crying than ever before." There is, of course, also a lot of making out in this teaser, not to mention a full-on fight as well as a romance between Demi Burnett and a woman whose identity isn't revealed.

Here's everything else we know about what's to come:

When it will air: The new episodes will air Monday and Tuesday evenings from 8 to 10 p.m. ET.

The host: Chris Harrison, of course. (As if he'd be going anywhere.) He makes an appearance in the new season's Baywatch-style teaser. Unfortunately, it didn't give many details away.

The contestants: On June 17, the first seven contestants were announced by ABC. They are: Bibiana Julian from Arie's season of The Bachelor; Blake Horstman and Clay Harbor from Becca's Bachelorette season; Cam Ayala and John Paul Jones from the most recent round of The Bachelorette with Hannah; and Demi Burnett and Tayshia Adams from Colton's season.

The rest of the cast was revealed on the evening of June 17. Joining the aforementioned members of Bachelor Nation will be: Derek Peth, who first appeared on Jojo's Bachelorette season and got engaged to Taylor on season four of BiP (they've since split); Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who battled with Hannah B. on Colton's season; Annelise Puccini, who's back for another round in Paradise after a tough go of it last year; Jane Averbukh, who made a very early exit on Colton's season; Kevin Fortenberry, who was eliminated by Hannah B. on The Bachelorette; Chris Bukowski, a true veteran who appeared on season eight of The Bachelorette, season two of Bachelor Pad, and the first two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise; Katie Morton, Onyeka Ehie, Sydney Lotuaco, Nicole Lopez-Alvar, and Hannah Goodwin from—you guessed it—Colton's Bachelor season; and Wills Reid, who was much loved on Becca's season.

The returning members of the cast sound ready for the next part of their Bachelor journeys. Puccini spoke to E! about going into this season with a new perspective, after her tough breakup with Kamil Nicalek. "I know what I want and that's what I'm here for," she said.

"I think I just had a different mind-set altogether going into Paradise. A lot has happened for me in the last year—a breakup, my father passed away—I think I had a different perspective on what I was looking for, what I needed, and what was important to me in life and I think that was a really good thing going back into it," she continued. "I just didn't want to deal with any of the B.S."

The drama heats up quickly. According to a preview on Good Morning America, we're going to get a love triangle from the very first episode between Blake Horstmann, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, and Kristina Schulman. "Blake and I were talking for a couple months," Miller-Keyes says in the clip. "I really liked him. Like, I actually, like, see something with this guy. He was like, 'Well, I have to tell you something.' So he says, 'The day before I hooked up with you, I hooked up with Kristina.'"

There's a same-sex romance. In teaser clips, Demi is seen saying, "I know that I love this girl. I’m just so happy that I found her." But at this point it's unclear who the object of her affection is.

That's all we know for now, but don't worry—this post will be updated as new details are released.
