Bachelor Alum Lauren Burnham Responds to the Rumors That She's Split From Arie Luyendyk Jr.

Bachelor Nation fans are pretty used to the heartache that ensues when our favorite on-screen couple announces they plan to go their separate ways. We’re always left wondering what exactly went wrong, and more often than not we don’t get the closure we’d hope for. The latest victims of breakup rumors from The Bachelor? Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham. The two have been through a lot together, but thankfully, the rumor turned out to be just that and Burnham took to Instagram to address the concerning gossip about her relationship.

Per E! News, Burnham shared a screenshot of an email her team received from TMZ on her Instagram Story. The email read, “We are hearing her and Arie have separated. Hoping that’s not true! But wanted to reach out for a statement just in case.” It can’t be easy to see what others are saying about your relationship behind your back, especially considering the fact that Burnham and Luyendyk Jr. are currently expecting twins. Thankfully, Burnham didn’t seem to take the email to heart and laughed it off.

“I meannnnn if you count the 3 hours we separated for him to go dirt biking last weekend,” Burnham wrote, “yeah we’ve ‘separated.’😂” We’re so happy that the rumor was incorrect, and honestly we’re not exactly sure why people believed the two were on the brink of divorce.

It was just this week that the Bachelor shared a sweet IG post celebrating their two year anniversary — and they’ve never seemed so in love.

“Today is our 2 year anniversary! I joked last week that I feel we have been together longer but that’s a good thing right? I love our little family,” Luyendyk began his length caption. He added, “I can’t wait for what this next year holds for us. I’m so grateful we found each other and even more grateful to share in this incredible life we are creating together.”

Granted, things are not always chalked up to what social media makes them out to be and followers should always take things with a grain of salt — but this couple looks pretty solid to us!
