Baby Archie Made His Podcast Debut

Prince Harry Was Mistaken for a Christmas Tree Salesman and We Love That for Him

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's visit to a Christmas tree barn included a case of mistaken identity.

The very first episode of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's podcast, Archewell Audio, dropped today on Spotify. In addition to a star-studded lineup, the episode also featured a very special guest: baby Archie.

Stacey Abrams, activist Rachel Cargle, and Elton John all made appearances, in addition to Tyler Perry and, of course, Meghan and Harry, to close out the year with some personal reflection.

And while that's heartwarming, inspirational, and all the things that the Sussexes wanted out of their first episode, Archie stole the show when he came on as a surprise. Though he didn't say much (he's not even 2 years old yet), royal fans are obsessing over what he did say and even claim to hear a bit of an accent.

After Meghan shared a sweet detail from her wedding, Archie took to the mic.

"'This Little Light of Mine' played at the very end of our wedding ... while we were walking down the steps of the church," Meghan said. "It was the music that we wanted playing when we started our lives together. Because as we all know, 'darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that..."

Harry added, "The message of this song is one we hold so dearly. It's about using the power we each have within us to make this world a better place."

Then, after a little bit of coaching, Archie, along with his parents, wished listeners a happy New Year. You can listen to the sweet moment on Spotify. For anyone who just wants to hear Archie, he comes on at the 31:55 mark.
