Khloé Kardashian hilariously trolled herself over her People's Choice Awards blip

Khloé Kardashian has been busy trolling herself on Instagram, after revealing her reason for being late on stage at the People's Choice Awards.

To recap, Khloé revealed she was "out of breath" from running to the stage to pick up her award, after she was accidentally caught touching up her hair and makeup. Oops.

The PCAs took place in LA on Tuesday, with everyone from Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively to actual Shania Twain walking the red carpet. The ceremony, which contains a whole host of awards picked by the general public, honoured The Kardashians in 'The Best Reality Show of 2022' category.

Momager Kris Jenner took to the stage to accept the award, before telling the audience that daughter Khloé was meant to be on stage, too. "Khloé was sitting next to me one second ago," Kris explained. "Oh, here she comes! Khloé, Khloé, Khloé!"

Khloé then runs up onto the stage, revealing her reason for being late, "I am out of breath. I was trying to fix my hair."

Since the slightly awkward blip, Khloé has taken to socials to laugh at herself over the moment. Seen hugging friend Malika Haqq, Khloé told fans in a video, "You guys, my hair looks really good now. I'm telling you."

She went on, "I don't know what happened on stage! My hair was f***ed up..." Koko then tossed her hair so that it covered her face before joking, "Oh, there it is again." Finishing her story, she added, "And then I was being called, my mom was on stage alone so I had to run over there and save her. And I looked like a freak, but you guys know what? Champagne f***ing problems, OK?" At least she's able to brush this one off!

Khloé followed up by hilariously trolling herself on her Instagram grid, posting what seems to be a set of glam pics from the night. However, scroll through and you'll spot an anomaly: a picture of the People's Choice Awards logo with a section of her doomed hair extensions.

Sister Kim Kardashian was of course loving the whole thing, commenting, "It’s the pic w the extensions for me…"

As for the rest of the duo's acceptance speech, Khloé told viewers, "Thank you guys so much. I am so honoured and happy to be here and just that we are able to live our lives in front of the TV and that you guys want to watch it." Never change, Koko.

Following her arrival on stage, Kris added, "We definitely have one of the best jobs in the world and I get to work with my family. It is because of the fans that we're here tonight. You guys always make us feel at home no matter where we end up and wherever we land. We are working on season three right now and it couldn't be better."
