Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event — also known as the second Prime Day — is here, which means everyone is flocking to the internet’s largest retailer for fashion, fitness, and flat-screen TV deals ahead of the holiday shopping rush.

Today's Top Deals

If you’re not a Prime member, are trying to avoid Amazon in general, or are interested in shopping sales that don’t put coin in a particularly jacked bald man’s pocket — your search has landed you in the right place. SPY editors don’t shy away from Prime Day deals, but we can appreciate anyone who’s looking to avoid the e-commerce behemoth for any number of political, social, or logistical reasons.

Here are the best Prime Day alternative sales going on right now, across the web, and the deals we recommend cashing in on that aren’t on Amazon.

The Best Alternatives to Prime Big Deal Days

1. Walmart’s Holiday Kickoff Savings Event

Walmart’s Holiday Kickoff savings event is taking place from October 9th-12th with online deals up to 60% off some of their most popular product categories. This includes Tech, Home Accessories, Kitchen & Dining, and Beauty & Grooming. Make sure to also bookmark their Flash Deals page, there you’ll find some of their steepest discounts available only for a limited time.

A few deals that have caught our eye? These Philips Wireless Headphones for just $30 (originally $90) and an Apple Watch SE for $160 off its sticker price. You can also save $200 off a Shark DuoClean vacuum, $170 off a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, and nab a top-rated gaming chair for just $100.

2. Target Sitewide Savings

Target isn’t having a savings event directly in competition to Prime Big Deal Days, but they always have savings available on their website ranging from grocery savings to discounts on electronics, and clothing and accessories.

A few favorites from the current selection include Beats Solo headphones for $100 off and a Roku stick for just $18.

3. Best Buy’s Tech Deals

BestBuy, similar to Target, isn’t having an official savings event this week but has some deals that challenge Amazon’s competitive prices, especially in the tech department.

They’re offering Dyson’s Cool Tower Fan for $110 off its regular price and at $259.99 this is lower than the prices Amazon is offering for similar products. It comes with Dyson’s “Air Multiplier” technology that’s designed to amplify the surrounding air for a more comfortable temperature and feel.

They also currently have the lowest price on the web for the coveted Dyson SuperSonic hair dryer, which is $100 off. It’s still an investment, at $300, but the litany of positive reviews on social media makes it sound worth it.

4. Wayfair’s Deals of the Day

Wayfair is also not having a dedicated savings event in response to Prime Day, but the company’s Deals of the Day refreshes the website with new savings every 24 hours. Wayfair is known as home goods central for a reason — they have a wide variety of affordable brands offering everything from furniture to light fixtures, pet toys, rugs, kitchen fixtures, and more.

This week, SPY editors have their eyes on these top-rated microfiber sheets for just $30, 70% off their regular price, as well as this comfortable L-shaped sectional for under $1,700. With the sun setting earlier and earlier, it’s also a great time to upgrade your home’s lighting fixtures, and these classic sconces are 44% off from Kelly Clarkson Home.
