Man charged with attempted murder after boy, 12, is shot from moving car in Sheffield
Police have charged a man with the attempted murder of a 12-year-old boy who was shot in Sheffield.
Stephen Dunford, 25, has been remanded in custody to appear in Sheffield Magistrates Court on Saturday.
The boy, who described as an “innocent bystander", was outside a sandwich shop in Northern Avenue, Arbourthorne, on January 12 with three teenage friends when he was shot in the leg.

The victim was taken to hospital and remains in a stable condition after undergoing surgery on his left thigh.
Police said he was hit by a gunman who was travelling in a moving car.
Dunford, from Sheffield, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
