Antonin Tron presented an elegant spring 2023 collection that demonstrated how an entire wardrobe can be built around the technique of ruching.
The designer revealed that he was inspired by Sigourney Weaver’s character Ellen Ripley in “Alien,” and female athletes and surfers who are strong and alluring.

A devoted surfer himself, Tron perhaps finds the moment a woman emerges from the water most attractive, since he fixated on a wet look for the show.
It paired well with sleek evening numbers, especially one that came with a swimwear-inspired one-shoulder black sequin top and ruched asymmetrical skirt, as well as an aqua blue dress ruched around a curvy lingerie seam around the body. He also dived into his archive to revive some outerwear pieces with ruched shoulder detail.
Overall, Tron delivered plan to recover from the pandemic step by step, starting with straightforwardly sexy and size-inclusive dresses. Hopefully, with the exposure from the Kardashian-Jenner chan — Kourtney Kardashian wore one of Tron’s designs recently — the 2018 ANDAM fashion awards top prize winner can flourish once again.
