Athens-Clarke County police collecting public comments for accreditation

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is currently accepting comments on its operations and procedures from the public and its employees.

The comments are gathered for its program to achieve accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc.

The portal for comments opened in May and will remain open through July 30.
