This New Astrology Hotel Will Personalize Your Stay Based on Your Zodiac Sign

What's your sign? If you don't know, you’d better figure it out quick, because zodiac signs just might be the next hot trend in travel. Case in point: The world’s first astrology hotel, The Ultimo, just opened in Sydney, Australia.

Astrologer Damian Rocks—founder of Stars Like You, an Australian astrology and wellbeing consulting company—partnered with The Ultimo to craft customized experiences, like city guides with “Gastrology” and “Experiology” destinations (the best places to eat and drink and the best things to do, respectively) for each of the 12 star signs. These curated guides both help guests feel aligned with their signs and direct them to city attractions that will suit their characteristics, offering them the ultimate personalized vacation.

The boutique hotel’s astrology offerings don’t end with its city guides: The Ultimo also offers “Do Not Disturb” signs tailored to guests’ signs, daily horoscopes with their newspapers, slippers in matching zodiac designs, Astrolo-tea (chosen to match each sign), and an astrology library in the lobby.

For guests looking for the full astrological experience, The Ultimo has Stars Like You Astro Packages. The Star Charts package starts at $229 for one person and includes accommodations, a personalized star chart on arrival, a moon calendar, and slippers. The Off the Charts consultation package starts at $329 for one person and includes accommodations, a 1-hour face-to-face astrology reading with the Stars Like You team, a moon calendar, and slippers. If this sounds like your kind of vacation, good news: To celebrate its grand opening, The Ultimo is offering 20 percent off its Astrology packages in February and March.

Owned and operated by 8Hotels, a boutique hotel company, The Ultimo Hotel boasts 95 rooms in a recently refurbished heritage-listed building in Sydney’s Chinatown neighborhood. In addition to its astrological offerings, it also has complimentary Wi-Fi and a barista coffee station. Room rates start at $139 Australian dollars per night (about $106 in U.S. dollars).
