Since Ashley Graham gave birth to her son, Issac, in January 2020, she's kept all of us updated on the amazing and not-so-amazing aspects of postpartum life. Adjusting to caring for a tiny bundle of joy is no easy feat, especially on top of the side effects of pregnancy. Postpartum life often brings joy, but, as Graham has found, it can also bring hair loss.
Graham shared an "edges update" with her fans via Instagram Stories to show us the state of her baby hairs and share how she's been regrowing them. She gives all the thanks and praise to the Kératase Initialiste Advanced Scalp & Hair Serum. In the video, she showed us the evidence of the new growth at her hairline. With a close-up look, she pulls at the little tufts on the right side of the head, saying, "You can see the little baby hairs."
Just in case you're a little skeptical, Graham emphasizes that it is not a sponsored ad. "No one is giving me money for this. I'm just telling y'all because I was freaking out, and now I know," she says. This serum is clearly working some magic.
The Kératase Initialiste Advanced Scalp & Hair Serum is a leave-in treatment intended for use on a freshly cleansed scalp before styling. The brand recommends adding two full droppers for thinner hair and four for thicker hair, and it should be massaged into the scalp and distributed evenly through the rest of the hair. (Scalp massages are also great for stimulating circulation, which can lead to an increase in growth.) The ceramides and green tea extract in the formula work to nourish the scalp and strengthen the hair.
It's great to see that Graham is getting her baby hairs back even if it needs a little more time.
