President Joe Biden’s inauguration was a joyous celebration for many reasons—including the fashion moments. And Ashley Biden, first daughter, may have walked away with one of the most memorable ones.

Biden changed into a chic black tux for Celebrating America, the TV special that toasted to the new administration. (The star-studded broadcast was hosted by Tom Hanks and featured performances from Demi Lovato and Katy Perry, among others.) She kept her hair up in a slicked-back pony tail and finished the outfit with a pair of black heels. It was sophisticated, classic, and effortlessly cool.

Biden’s tux really just represents the range of looks we got on inauguration day. From brightly colored coats to white corsages and giant dove pins, the style was energetic and fresh, bringing some much-needed fun back into our lives.

“I’m actually *furious* that none of you flagged Ashley Biden in a tux to me,” someone else posted. Ashley Biden gave her first TV interview on Today right before her father’s inauguration. She clarified that she won’t be taking a job in the administration but will “hopefully use this platform to advocate for social justice, for mental health, to be involved in community development and revitalization.”

She also explained why she’s not that active publicly on social media. “The cruelty and the meanness, that’s why I don’t have a social media account that’s public,” she said. “Part of it is also having boundaries for myself, because I believe in kindness, and I believe in the humanity of all of us.”
