After less than two years on the job, the CEO of wildly popular shapewear brand Spanx, Jan Singer, has left her role at the $1 billion company. Though the reason for her fast exit is unclear, the company has recently undergone some major restructuring. According to a 2015 report, Singer was responsible for reorganizing 80 percent of Spanx’s top management.

Singer, who was nabbed by Spanx founder & owner Sara Blakely in 2014 while working as a big-time VP at Nike, helped grow the company during her time as CEO, also focusing on other categories such as swimwear and a successful line of jeans (though Blakely launched both swimwear and denim lines during her time as founder & owner). In February, Spanx released its first collection of athleisure wear. Shrinking may be the key to Spanx’s success as a product, but when it comes to the business itself, it’s clearly all about expansion.

Now that Singer’s out of the picture, Blakely — a 45-year-old self-made billionaire and one of Time’s “All-Time Fashion Icons” — will be returning to head up the brand she began 16 years ago. For the time being, anyway, it sounds like Spanx is back in the right hands.
