Welcome members of ARMY, new and old—we have some good (really, really good) news to share.

As far as awards go, BTS could probably fill a seven-story apartment building with the awards it has won over the years. The group has cleaned up at the Billboard Music Awards. Korean Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, American Music Awards, and way, way more. Though, aside from a Best Recording Package nomination, BTS has found one of music's biggest honors a little bit evasive: The Grammy Awards. Until this afternoon. BTS has been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Dynamite."

Now, if you've been following along at Esquire, you might know that it's pretty much BTS week here. On Monday morning, we dropped our Winter issue cover story, which featured the pop legends in the making. They went on the record about... all of it. (Plus, they posed for some intimate Polaroids. But near the end of the story, RM talked to Esquire's Dave Holmes about how much winning a Grammy would mean to the group.

“We would like to be nominated and possibly get an award,” RM said. He added, with a smile," “I think the Grammys are the last part, like the final part of the whole American journey... So yeah, we’ll see."

There's no doubt that the Grammys nomination will have the guys and ARMY riding on especially good vibes for the rest of the week. Even better? The actual trophy. We'll see when the Grammys kick off its 63rd ceremony on January 31, 2021.
