Armie Hammer Returns to Social Media With Beach Photo After Prior Scandal

Armie Hammer is officially back on social media in the wake of his life-changing scandal involving intense accusations of emotional and sexual abuse, with the actor getting a divorce from his long-time wife Elizabeth Chambers around the same time.
On Wednesday, Nov. 1, Hammer made a new post on his Instagram after appearing to completely scrub it of past updates. He shared a video inside a moving train somewhere, with a laptop playing a clip of a man chasing a horse situated on what seems to be his lap.
Now, Hammer has shared another update on Nov. 5, with the 37-year-old posting a selfie of himself and two friends at the beach in Los Angeles, with the caption saying, "When the LA welcome committee demands you do a cold water plunge in the ocean right when you get off the plane…" Hammer shared no further details about the situation, such as where he arrived to LA from.
Fans of the actor were happy to see his return to social media, cheering him on in the comments.
"Live your best life…look to the horizon… and not to the past…You look so happy and at ease now. You have so many supportive people around you and we will hold you up always," wrote one fan, as another said, "You don’t realize the joy you’ve been giving me since you’re back here. ❤️."
"I am so happy seeing that you look happy and healthy and has friends by your side. Shine, Armie!" commented a third, while many more shared similar notes of encouragement.
Hammer is making his way back to social media after the scandal that started at the beginning of 2021, with the father of two leaving various high-profile acting jobs in the wake of the allegations before checking himself into rehab. In 2022, the docuseries House of Hammer was released, which went into detail about his family history as well as the accusations he personally faced.
While he occasionally used Instagram in order to share statements over this time, the November updates appear to indicate a new, refreshed social media presence for the actor.
