Ariel Winter Debuts Edgy Dark Hair and Bangs at the Critics’ Choice Awards
It’s a good week for bangs.
Just a few hours after supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio revealed her brand new bangs, Ariel Winter debuted her own fringe at the Critics’ Choice Awards Sunday night in Los Angeles.
The 18-year-old Modern Family star stunned as she posed for photos on the carpet, rocking a bold new look with long, face-framing bangs and a top knot.
She paired the look with a black gown embellished with pearls, complete with daring side cut-outs.

And perhaps Winter’s new look will bring her some good luck tonight: The star’s hit ABC show Modern Family is nominated for best comedy series for the third time. The series, which previously won the award in 2011, is up against Atlanta, Black-ish, Fleabag, Silicon Valley, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Veep.

Winter’s costars Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell are also nominated in the best supporting actress and actor in a comedy series categories.
The Critics’ Choice Awards, hosted by T.J. Miller and presented in partnership with Entertainment Weekly, are airing live Sunday night on A&E starting at 8 p.m. ET.
